Low End Radio Music Request System Mirror
This
is a (not especially well maintained, especially as of late) mirror of
the Low End Radio Music Request System as developed by Brad H. Current
versions of everything here can be found at his site or Github (although, if you're here, that might tend to suggest the other sites are not working).
So, with that said, here's everything there is to download:
If you're looking to just get started
with a fresh copy of the Low End Radio Music Request System, use the
links below to get the latest release (any of stable, beta or
pre-release, depending upon your preference). And take a moment to read
the instructions.
This page was last updated on April 4th, 2021. At that time, the latest stable
MRS release was 2.3.129. This release is available as an install pack (MD5 hash).
The latest beta release is presently version 2.4.7. Get the install pack here (ZIP or GZip'd TAR) along with its SHA-1 hash (ZIP or TAR).
Please be aware that this is a MAJOR UPDATE. Plan to have (and actually
make!) backups of your current installation before you proceed, if you
have one.
Should you be performing an upgrade of the MRS from version 2.2.28 or earlier, you will need an enhanced set of upgrade tools and their prerequisites.
These files include instructions explaining their placement and use
(although the first one says you can't use it to upgrade releases prior
to 2.2.102).
Users of the 000webhost platform may need this tool, if a great many errors are being displayed by the MRS.
And while I think it's been superceded in the latest stable, beta and pre-release builds, you can also download the functional external API files.
You can find the Music Request System's original home on the World Wide Web here. (Update your bookmarks, as this URL has changed and the old one may at some point stop redirecting.)
All rights to this software remain with its author, Brad H. The Low End
Radio Music Request System software is licensed to you under the terms
of the DBAD public license. Certain third party components utilized by the MRS may have different licenses.

While you're always welcome to send e-mail my

providing modifications to it at the present time (and probably not
ever).
