1.0  Description of the Netfinity Manager Security Enhancement
______________________________________________________________________

Netfinity Manager enhanced security restricts launching the Netfinity
Service Manager locally to members of the NT Administrators group. 
Enhanced security can be enabled by replacing the default WNFIPC32.dll
in the \WNETFIN directory with the enhanced version.  Future releases
of Netfinity Manager and Client Services will include an option to 
enable this function upon installation. 

IMPORTANT:  This update can only be applied to version 5.20.0 and
            higher.


2.0  Installation Instructions
______________________________________________________________________

     1.  This is a self-extracting zip.  It can also be 
         extracted using a zip compatible utility.  

     2.  Read NfMSecure.html for more information and  
         details about security enhancement to Netfinity
         Manager.
         
     3.  Stop the Netfinity Support Program service.
         (NET STOP NETFBASE)
         
     4.  Backup the original WNFIPC32.DLL
     
     5.  Replace WNFIPC32.DLL with file from the package.
     
     6.  Restart the Netfinity Support Program service
         (NET START NETFBASE)
