IBM 16/4 Busmaster EISA Adapter Driver v1.0 - Installation Diskette =================================================================== This diskette contains the Device Driver for the IBM 16/4 Busmaster EISA Adapters, along with all the files required by SCO installation tools, custom(ADM) and netconfig(ADM). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------- Diskette Creation ------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The file hhtr.dsk contains a disk dump of the IBM 16/4 Busmaster EISA Adapter Driver 1.0 Installation Diskette. Use the dd(C) utility to create the 1.44MB floppy disk that will be used to install the Driver. The syntax of the dd(C) to create the disk is: dd if=hhtr.dsk of=/dev/fd0135ds18 bs=18k ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Diskette Installation ----------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The contents of the diskette must be installed with the custom(ADM) command. Refer to the "System Administrator's Reference" Manual for information about custom(ADM). After finishing the installation, please refer to the README file in the directory /usr/lib/lli/hhtr for information about Driver Installation and Configuration. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------- Supported environments ------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The IBM 16/4 Busmaster EISA Adapter Driver 1.0 was tested with SCO Open Server v3.0, which includes: SCO UNIX 3.2v4.2 SCO TCP 1.2.1. SCO NFS 1.2.1. SCO ISPX 1.0.3 Lan Manager 2.2.0l for UNIX Systems. Microsoft NetBEUI and Datalink Services 2.2.0l OSI LT-610 LAN Lower Layers 2.2.31. OSI VT-720 Virtual Terminal 2.1.60. OSI FT-820 File Transfer Access and Management 2.1.82. Also, the Driver has been verified to be compliant with SCO's LLI (Logical Link Interface) Standard. This has been accomplished through the execution of SCO ANT (Automated Network Test) Suite version 3.2.0. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------- Contents of the Diskette ----------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The diskette built with dd(C) should have the following files: ./tmp/_lml/prd=hhtr/typ=n386/rel=1.0.0a/vol=01 ./tmp/perms/hhtr ./etc/copyrights/11.ibm ./usr/include/sys/hhtr.h ./usr/lib/netconfig/reconf/hhtr0 ./usr/lib/netconfig/remove/hhtr0 ./usr/lib/netconfig/info/hhtr0 ./usr/lib/netconfig/init/hhtr0 ./usr/lib/lli/hhtr/README ./usr/lib/lli/hhtr/hhtrstat ./usr/lib/lli/hhtr/System ./usr/lib/lli/hhtr/Space.c ./usr/lib/lli/hhtr/Node ./usr/lib/lli/hhtr/Master ./usr/lib/lli/hhtr/Driver.o Restricted Rights Legend: IBM is trademark of International Business Machine Corporation.
