Patch Contents ============== MWAVE SYS 30,808 08-18-98 12:43p MWAVE.SYS MWMIXER DLL 207,872 07-24-98 4:41p MWMIXER.DLL MWSOUND DLL 125,952 09-21-98 4:52p MWSOUND.DLL Installation Related Files ========================== INSTALL.EXE INSTALL.MSG INSTALL.DAT REBOOTN.EXE FAILED.EXE README.TXT Patch Prerequisites =================== Mwave version 2.30 must be loaded on your computer running under Windows NT 4.0. Patch Instructions ================== 1. Download the file into a temporary directory. 2. Open a DOS Window (Start ==> Programs ==> MS-DOS Prompt). 3. Change directories to the location where you downloaded the file (cd\). Type mwntvv.exe and press enter. 4. This will extract the files mentioned above. 5. After it has completed extracting the files, type install.exe and press enter. 6. Install will try to locate all of the Mwave drivers. If everything is not found (probably because you used directory names other than the Mwave default ones, or because Mwave exists on another drive) it does not matter. The ONLY directory that has to be located is the Mwave Windows Directory (MWW32). If the directory found is incorrect, then reply "no" when install asks if everything is correct. Install will then prompt you to type in the correct path name 7. Reboot the system for the patch to take effect. ** END OF FILE **
