Live Stream Chat Guidelines
for the “Stereo Dust Particles” Network of Shows

I suggest you read the complete document, for a better understanding of what and why. These "guidelines" are quite nuanced, and there isn't room for that in the "short form". The goal here, as stated in the full document, is not to prevent anyone being who they are, nor are these meant to stifle anyone's freedom of expression. Rather, they are intended to make sure everyone is on "the same sheet of music", especially moderators. Broadcasters are free to pick and choose what they want from this document, and it is in no way "imposed" on any live show. It is 100% possible to broadcast as a part of SDP and have a show with no rules at all!

General Rules

• Absolutely no disrespect to a broadcaster will be tolerated.

• No bullying, hatred or similar behavior will be tolerated.

• No “Spamming”.
  

Chat Rules

• Many people from different walks of life participate in the chat. You are addressing a diverse audience when you chat, so keep that in mind.

• In general, it is expected that the chat will be kept at a PG/PG-13 level on average. Minor exceptions are allowed..

• Controversial subjects are best avoided in the chat. Use your common sense.
  

Moderation

• ABSOLUTELY NO PUBLIC COMMENTARY OR DISCUSSION IS ALLOWED CONCERNING MODERATION ACTIONS TAKEN IN THE CHAT. Discuss it privately with a broadcaster or moderator.
  

Broadcasters

• Content of a show is purely the choice and responsibility of the broadcaster. There is a moderate expectation that shows in the Stereo Dust Particles network will be reasonably "family friendly."

• Late shows have much more relaxed standards.
  

Requests

• Not every broadcaster takes requests for songs.

• Make your request ONCE.
